Kerala therapy station chain of multi-specialty Ayurvedic Centers was formed with the support of Ms.Dhanwanthari Vaidyasala, kerala (ESTD 1933) as principle associate, in 2009.

K T S Ayurvedic Centers provide a balanced and holistic, multi-modality approach to treatment.

With a more than 86 years of tradition in Ayurvedic Medicine manufacturing, treatments and traing, expertsise of Dhanwanthari Vaidyasala is well positioned to deploy India’s ancient science to heal contemporary health issues and diseases through K T S Centers. It aims to provide customized treatment across age groups with state of the art facilities, qualified Ayurvedic medical practitioners, therapists, traditional equipments and authentic kerala medicines. The treatments would include diagnosis and care for serious medical conditions such as cardiac disorders, skin disorders. diabetes, degenerative joints, disorders of the head and neck, besides preventive, wellness packages for lifestyle disorders such as infertility, job hazards, obesity, computer vision syndrome, skin nourishment and memory fitness among others.

Research And  Development

Dhanwanthari has got in-house R and D set up. Apart from the routine standardization tests, the R and D Division is conducting tests for basic research, new product development and tests on improving the production quality. The division has now been scheduled for workshops on specific subjects involving scientists, doctors and technical experts from India and abroad.

Panchakarma Therapists Training

The duration of this course is nine months which includes a six months training and three months bond. Students are given theory and practical classes in Panchakarma. The minimum qualification for admission is 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Education.

Ayurvedi – A forum for Continuous Medical Education for doctors

As part of the CME we organize and conduct special classes for doctors from different fields of medical science on latest subjects. This enables the medical practitioners to update themselves about the most recent diseases, medicines and treatment techniques.

CN Finishing School for junior doctors

Freshers, regardless of their area of specialization, lack practical experience. In order to help the junior doctors to tackle this predicament Dhanwanthari has devised a special program that will equip them with practical experience in all areas of treatment and production. In CN Finishing school junior doctors get the opportunity to get a first hand knowledge and experience related to various treatments and medicines. They are also given special classes and participation in the manufacturing process of Ayurvedic medicines.

Public Utility Medicine

The immense wealth of knowledge recorded in the scriptures of Ayurveda still remains unexplored by anyone. If put to use this knowledge is sure to unearth remedies that will find effective and economical solutions to ailments that have vexed humanity for ages. DIPUM an ambitious project of Dhanwanthari is one such mission that aims to make primary healthcare accessible and affordable to all. DIPUM is conceived as a bold stride towards humane healthcare – to offer health services shaped by social commitment and ethics.

Research on new Products

Ever since the firm was established in the year 1933 Dhanwanthari has been working to develop new and advanced Ayurvedic medicines. Dhanwanthari Vaidyasala has already developed Patented Ayurvedic preparations. Researches are under way with the single aim of developing Ayurvedic remedies and medicines for specific diseases like migraine, peptic ulcer, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, sinusitis and upper respiratory infections, coughs (productive and dry) and many more.

Project on Coronary Vascular Diseases (CVD)

Under this project the three different and progressive stages of CVD are analyzed viz: pre atherosclerosis, atherosclerosis, myocardial infarction and separate medicines are developed correspondingly. Animal studies are conducted to assess the efficacy of these medicines. This project is part of the Dhanwanthari Initiative on Public Utility Medicine (DIPUM) project that aims to facilitate the boons of Ayurveda for the benefit of common man.

Personal care product development 

Personal care products have a greater demand in the global market. As a responsible firm with great experience in the field of manufacturing and marketing of Ayurvedic products Dhanwanthari gives supreme priority to bring out safer products. Extra attention is given to avoid harmful chemicals in the manufacture of personal care products.

A herbal garden has been well maintained in the premises of our head office at Thodupuzha. The garden is rich with innumerable common medicinal herbs.
